Grilled Sea Bream

Grilled seabream

Evening lovelies, I am still thinking of that zimbabwean food. When I was there I ate a lot of fish, and I loved it. It was rich in flavour and the aromas that came from the spices where just divine. Which is why this evening, I tried to recreate a sea bream dish I had. When I had it, it was served with sadza a traditional dish made out of cornmeal- I might share the recipe and how to make it, if anyone is interested. Serves 1/2

Ingredients:

1 Sea Bream Fish

1 Tbspn Fish Spice

1 Tbspn Paprika

1 Chopped Garlic Clove

1 Tspn Cumin Powder

1 Tbspn Curry

2 Tbspn Soy Sauce

Salt&Pepper

Method:

  1. Cut your sea bream into four pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl add your fish and all the other spice ingredients and the soy sauce. mix it all till fully combined.
  3. Leave to marinate for a minimum of 2 hours.
  4. Then grill in a pre-heated oven at 190 degrees celcius for 20 mins- till crispy and you are done :)
