Hello lovelies!!!!! I’m back! For those that read my last blog post you should remember that i told you, that I was going on holiday hence the lack of posts. And for those that follow me on instagram (@inheatherskitchen) you would have seen some of my holiday pics. Zimbabwe- that’s where i went- was just beautiful that African sun really did me good and oh my their food- It was just mouth watering, its a shame most of the pictures I was taking where on my snapchat (heather_ihk) and me being the ditsy person that I am I forgot to save them so I’m sorry guys!! Now that I am back I had really missed pasta I didn’t eat it once whilst being so last night I decided to make mac n cheese, I hope you try out the recipe, if you do please take pictures and post them with the hashtag #inheatherskitchen on all social media sites so I can check it out. 2 Tbspn All purpose Flour
Handful Grated Cheddar Cheese
Handful Grated Elemental Cheese and extra for topping
2 Tbspn Sour Cream
Salt and pepper
- In a saucepan in salted water boil your macaroni for 10-12mins till al dente.
- In a separate saucepan, on a medium heat, add your flour and add 3 tbspn of milk and mix till you form a paste, then add the rest of the milk and stir for 3 mins then add your cheese and sour cream and cook for a further 2 mins. Season with pepper.
- Once your macaroni is ready, drain it and add it to the sauce pan with the cheese sauce then mix it all, till its fully combined then transfer it to a casserole dish. Scatter your extra cheese on top.
- Bake in the over at 200 degrees celcius for 20 mins. and you are done
