Blackberry Slushie

Making this Slushie today reminded me of my younger days when id go to town with my mum and always see the Slushie man and start crying for one, Β thanks to my tears getting a Slushie everytime we went to town became our thing. Now that I’ve grown older we don’t really have Slushie dates anymore, but I don’t need them anymore seeing as I can now make my own. It’s a 3 ingredient recipe, take 5 minutes to prep but needs about 1 hour in a freezer. Makes 4 glasses

Ingredients:

400g Blackberries

30g sugar

1000 ml of Water

Method:

  1. In a blender, place all your ingredients then blitz.
  2. Then place your liquid in a container (glass or plastic). Then place in the freezer for 1 hour- coming back to give it a mix every 20 mins so the mixture doesn’t completely freeze- and you are done :)
