Cinnamon French Toast

French Toast is one of those things that you can eat at anytime of the day, well I can. I Justify me eating at anytime of the day because you can have with sweet or savoury toppings, so for breakfast I usually for sweet toppings like fruit like I have done today! I went for raspberries but you could for any fruit of your choice, preferably berries. When I have it with savoury toppings I do not add the cinnamon in my egg mixture I add salt and pepper instead then I have with things sausage, beans etc anything that’s there really. Makes two Slices

Ingredients:

2 eggs

2 slices of bread

1/2 teaspoon casterΒ sugar

1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

1 tbsp. Oil

Method:

1. In a cup, crack your eggs, add your sugar and cinnamon, and give it a whisk with a fork.

2. In a pan add your oil and place on a medium heat. Whilst the oil is heating up, pour half your egg mixture onto a large plate then coat your bread slice in the egg mixture by dabbing it in the egg, so it absorbs the egg. once done the first slice add more egg mixture into the plate and do your second slice.

3. Once the slices of bread are covered in the egg mixture, place them in the pan for 2 minutes on each side. Then you are done :)
