Thyme Pitta Bread Sticks

One of my biggest problems is that when I’m at work I eat a lot of junk food. I have always got either chocolate bar, crisps, biscuits etc by my desk (I am kind of known for eating?)Β and it doesn’t help that the closest shop is a minute away from my place of work. Not only is this habit bad because its unhealthy but it Β is also, terrible because it always leaves me broke! So I have decided to turn over a new leaf and start making quick and easy snacks to carry to work- just like the way my mum used to do when I was in primary. Today I made pitta bread sticks I used thyme, but you could any herb of your choice, I ate them with hummus, but you could use a different dip like guacamole. Serves One

Ingredients:

2 Pitta Bread

1 tbsp. Olive Oil

3 Sprigs of Thyme

Method:

1. Slice your pitta bread into strips. Then place in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius. for 5 mins.

2. In a cup pour your oil, take your thyme of the stem then add it into the oil. Give it a mix. Then when the pitta bread is done, with a pastry brush, brush the oil mixture over your pitta bread sticks. Then you are done :)
