Sticky Honey Wings

I was having one of those days where I’m not full but I’m not completely hungry either. I call them confused tummy days. When I have days such as these I usually make a sandwhich but today, I said no to sandwiches and for chicken wings. They were the perfect solution for my tummy’s confusion (even though I must admit, I did end up over indulging which made me really full). There are so many ways of making wings but today I went for a sticky sweet glaze, that only took me under 5 minutes to make!! I do hope you try this recipe, if you do please due the hashtag #inheatherskitchen so I can check it out. See you soon x

Serves 2/3. Needs two hours to marinate.

15 ml Dark soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
1/2 lime
10 chicken wings
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1tbsp olive oil

1. In a bowl place your wings then add your soy sauce, salt and honey. Cover with cling film leave aside for 1hr 30 mins
2. After 1 hr 30 add in your lime juice. Leave for aΒ  further 30 mins
3. In a sauce pan heat your oil at a medium heat then add your wings, reduce to a low heat then cook for 15-20 mins . Stirring occasionally so the glaze doesn’t stick at the bottom. Once the glaze mixture has reduced and is sticky serve immediately.Β  And you are doneΒ :)
