Chicken Korma


My boyfriend loves Indian, its one of his favourite cuisines. However, its not mine im more ofΒ a Chinese takeaway type of girl. But because i am a sweet girlfriend, I like to make him curries from time to time. The first curry i ever made for him was a chicken korma curry, i can still rememberΒ the smile on his face- priceless. Anyway, enough of that the reason I personally like this curry because it is creamy and it has sweet undertones, it’s beautiful. It’s best served with basmati rice. serves 4


4 Chicken Breast

1 large Chopped onion

4 Sliced Garlic Cloves

4g of chopped Fresh Ginger

1 tbsp Ground Corriander

1tbsp Chilli Powder

1 Bay leaf

1tbsp Tumeric

10 Carcodom Seeds Crushed

1tbsp oil

1tbsp Cinnamon

1 tbsp of Flour

500ml of Double Cream


1. In a saucepan, add your onion garlic and ginger to heated oil ans fry for 10 mins at a low heat. Then add in all your spices. And fry for a further 10 mins.

2. Then add your flour and 350 ml of cold water and let it simmer for a further 10 minutes. Then take out the bay leaf then Β place the remainingmixture in a blender and blitz. That’s your curry paste done :)

3. Now add your paste back into your saucepan, add your chicken and cream and let it cook for 12 mins. And you are done :)
